What personal data we collect and why we collect it.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Who we share your data with

Your email address and name maybe shared with EMS such as Mailchimp only if subscribed to our mailing list.

Contact Forms

We keep contact form submissions for up to 2 years for customer service purposes, but we do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes, unless a customer has opted into our mailing list and wants to keep in touch.

Email marketing messages & subscription

Under the GDPR we use the consent lawful basis for anyone subscribing to our newsletter or marketing mailing list. We only collect certain data about you, as detailed in the “Processing of your personal date” above. Any email marketing messages we send are done so through an EMS, email marketing service provider. An EMS is a third-party service provider of software /
applications that allows marketers to send out email marketing campaigns to a list of users. Email marketing messages that we send may contain tracking beacons / tracked clickable links or similar server technologies in  order to track subscriber activity within email marketing messages. Where used, such marketing messages may record a range of data such as; times, dates, I.P
addresses, opens, clicks, forwards, geographic and demographic data. Such data, within its limitations will show the activity each subscriber made for that email campaign. Any email marketing messages we send are in accordance with GDPR . We provide you with an easy method to withdraw your consent (unsubscribe) or manage your preferences / the information we hold about you at any time. How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by not checking the relevant boxes on our forms. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
