We have been leading in Aquaponics development since 2010. With a life-long passion for our environment and the future of quality and sustainable food sources led us to Aquaponics. Since 2012, we have been educating, designing, and installing systems, including our own farm on an Acre site, which is our research and development site for pioneering aquaponic technology and methodology to deliver the best solutions for the future of generations to come and the planet.
Bioaquafarm specializes in Aquaponic Education, Design and Development of Aquaponics Systems for Home and Commercial Farms.
At Bioaqua farm we’ve spent a decade refining our aquaponics system, which comes highly recommended by industry expert Dr Wilson Lennard, who described our farm as “the best farm system in the UK by a mile” and “a success story” thanks to diversification and an innovative approach.
We specialize in horticultural seasonal production of a variety of around 50 different crops year-round both indoor and outdoor with cutting edge methods on a one-acre site.
Our Aquaculture production is focused on rainbow trout and seasonal horticulture produce. We are specialized on added value production to both fish and plant produce. Our aquaculture system provides the specific habitat for an avid swimmer like trout, it is mimicking an oxygen rich and fast flowing river which is continually monitored for its quality. Our Aquaponic system is a combination of multi-loop microenvironment, so to accommodate the needs of different plants species and living organisms. We utilize a method known as “Integrated Agri Aquaculture Systems” which allow us to grow crops in soil year- round thus promoting biodiversity.
This natural living eco-system ultimately is managed in a unique way so to maintain the balance required to produce healthy and nutritious food. We have worked with a wide variety of channels to market over the years, including catering, restaurants, village stores, farmers’ markets, festivals, direct sales, online farmer’s cooperative network with a focus on added value fish produce and deli and preserve specialty produce with their vegetables and fruits.
Our Mission is to further our research and development of aquaponic methods, education, and services so that we can deliver highly productive systems that are, efficient and sustainable for all.
We are the living proof that Aquaponics on a small scale can be profitable, it is a matter of having a solid
business plan with the right skill set and a degree of adaptability. Our clients project success is the testimonial to our expertise and passion in this field, we have specialized in providing sustainable solutions even in the most extreme environments.
Bioaqua farm has also contributed to a vast amount of Aquaponic research and currently corroborating actively
with Government bodies and Universities across Europe. We are committed to education and with that create a legacy of knowledge keepers, our influence inspires wisdom and passion for protecting the environment which ultimately in return supports all of us on this planet.
